Green Rust Remover: Non-Hazardous and Concentrated solutions for Classic Cars and Trucks
With the advent and availability of 'green' rust removers, a new, simple problem has arisen. A significant barrier to their widespread use is the way these products are perceived. The non-concentrated rust removers are shipped with the non-hazardous classification, but when you order one gallon for $19.99 to $39.99 (the current typical internet price), that is all you get. In order to have 10 gallons of ready-to-use fluid you have to purchase and ship 10 gallons! For the least expensive one, it means 10 x $19.99, plus about $10.00 per gallon for shipping. That adds up to an astonishing $299.00, or $29.90 per gallon shipped here in the lower 48 states.
Concentrated versions will also save on floor and shelf space. Where this space is at a premium, such as in wholesale and retail buildings, etc., a reduction in space used may mean cost savings for these suppliers in terms of per square foot costs. Plus the ability to carry the products in the first place and to remain well stocked. Another advantage is the use of smaller, highly visible areas such as end-caps and shelving in check-out lines.
Unfortunately, most people don't understand these simple concepts, or don't believe it is possible to have such a huge cost savings and excellent performance all at the same time.
